Osmope

OSMOPE – Social Organization Movimento Pontes Educativas – Nursery, Kindergarten and Primary School, is a school located in the center of Porto that has been active for almost 40 years. The school welcomes around 250 children from zero to ten years old and assumes itself as a socio-constructivist educational space, supporting its pedagogical strategies in project methodologies. Its motto is that the school should not be an “educational resort”, which is why it develops systematic partnerships with different partners from various cultural and scientific areas of the city, such as Museums, Universities, Cultural and Scientific Institutions. The team of educators is concerned with documenting the experiences that are being lived, to encourage reflections and evaluations and to give visibility to the skills of the youngest children.
